Button for unchilled water
Note
The illuminated buttons are sensor buttons which re-
quire only a slight touch for actuation.
The button illumination is brighter during actuation.
Place the receptacle in the middle of the drip pan.
Press the button for the selected water type and
hold it down until the desired amount of water has
been dispensed into the receptacle.
If the appliance will not be needed for more than 4 days:
Shut off water supply.
Set the appliance switch to "0".
Do not transport the device horizontally.
Mind the weight of the appliance during transport.
Store in a frost-free environment.
Consider the weight of the appliance when storing
it.

Health risk due to increased micro-organism concentra-
tion in the water.
Set the appliance switch to "I".
Open the water supply.
Perform chemical cleaning (see "Care and Mainte-
nance/Chemical cleaning").

Health hazards on account of improperly repaired appli-
ance. The appliance may only be repaired by trained
and skilled personnel.
Use only original parts of the manufacturer or part sug-
gessted by him, such as
–
parts and wearing parts,
–
accessories parts,
–
operating materials,
–
cleaning agents.
Before doing any work on the machine:
Set the appliance switch to "0".
Pull out the mains plug.
Shut off water supply.
Chemical cleaning must be performed after initial start-
up, after a shutdown for more than four days, after a fil-
ter change or otherwise at least every 6 months.
The cleaning kit WPD (2.643-941.0) is required for
chemical cleaning.

Shut off water supply.
Press any button until no more water is dispensed.
Remove the Active-Pure filter (see: "Uninstall / in-
stall filter").
Fit the cap.
Remove the water inlet line.
Screw apart the cleaning kit and insert four clean-
ing tabs as shown above.
Screw the cleaning kit back together and ensure
that the sealing ring is seated properly.
Connect the cleaning kit to the appliance inlet.
Note
During the cleaning process, the filter should be in an
upright (vertical) position.
Connect the water inlet line to the cleaning kit.
Place a suitable container with a capacity of at least
1 litre under the water outlet.
We recommend the rinsing cup (order number
6.640-341.0).
Note
If necessary, remove the drying fan.
Open the water supply.
Note
The following steps must be performed very care-
fully, as otherwise the effect of the chemical clean-
ing is not guaranteed.
Note
The detergent used for chemical cleaning is
equipped with a colour indicator (blue). The colour-
ation of the water that is output indicates the con-
centration and effectiveness of the detergent.
Foam formation occurs during the cleaning process.
This is caused by the system and normal.
Actuate the button for cooled water until the appli-
ance automatically stops the flow.
Repeat this procedure 3x in total.
Actuate the button for uncooled water until the ap-
pliance automatically stops the flow.
Wait for the detergent contact time to be complet-
ed. Duration 15 minutes.
Shut off water supply.
Press any button until no more water is dispensed.
Remove the cleaning kit.
Reconnect the water supply hose to the appliance.
Note
The chemical cleaning process takes approx. 45 min-
utes.
The water dispensed during cleaning is not fit for
human consumption!
Note
The rinsing process can be interrupted briefly at any
time in order to fill the rinsing cup.
Place a suitable container with a capacity of at least
1 litre under the water outlet.
We recommend the rinsing cup (order number
6.640-341.0).
Actuate the button for cooled water and continue
dispensing until there is no more foam formation
and the blue colouration is no longer visible
Afterwards, dispense at least four litres of cooled
water.
Actuate the button for uncooled water and dis-
pense at least one litre.
Shut off water supply.
Press any button until no more water is dispensed.
Remove the cap.
Insert the filter again.
Reinsert and lock the lateral appliance cover.
Open the water supply.
The device is ready for operation again.
In order to be able to test the function of the chemical
cleaning, samples should be collected immediately af-
ter the completed cleaning under observance of the
rules for microbiological water analysis and evaluated
by an accredited laboratory.

WARNING
Health risk due to the contamination with germs.
When replacing the filter cartridges, ensure hygiene and
cleanliness.
Do not touch the connections of the socket and filters.
Wear sterile disposable gloves when replacing the filter.
Shut off water supply to the appliance.
Place the container under the water output of the
appliance.
Press the button for unchilled water until no more
water is dispensed.
Set the appliance switch to "0".
Open the lock.
Remove the lateral filter cover.
Rotate the filter to the left and pull it out down-
wards.
Note
Residual water will be in the filter!
The exhausted filter can be disposed of along with reg-
ular household rubbish. Remove residual water from
the filter before disposing of it.
Wear sterile gloves.
Unpack the new filter.
Insert the filter from the bottom into the relevant
support. Mind the position of the tab.
Turn the filter to the right all the way to the stop.
Reinsert and lock the lateral appliance cover.
Set the appliance switch to "I".
Open the water supply again.
Place an receptacle underneath the water outlet.
Operate the button for unchilled water.
The new filter is flushed.
Rinse the filter until the dispensed water is clear
and odour-free, however, at least with 20 litres.
The maximum dispensing time is limited to 60 sec-
onds. To resume the rinsing process, press the
button for unchilled water again.
After every filter change the performance of a
chemical cleaning is recommended (see "chemical
cleaning").
