4.6 Areas of Application
·
Use the appliance to clean machines, vehicles,
buildings, tools etc.
·
Facades, terraces, garden appliances should
be cleaned without cleaning agent and only
with the high-pressure jet. We recommend
the dirt blaster as a special accessory for
stubborn dirt.
·
Engines may only be cleaned at locations
where suitable oil separators are provided
(environmental protection).
·
If the appliance is used at service stations or
other dangerous locations, the appropriate
safety regulations must be observed.
4. Starting
4.5 Electrical Connection

See technical data, Ch. 3 for connection values.
·
The voltage shown on the rating plate must be
the same as that for the source of current.
·
The electric plug may only be connected by
the authorized customer service/qualified
electrician.
·
First, set the appliance switch to STOP, and
then insert the electric plug in the socket.
·
If you are using an extension cable, it should
always be completely unravelled from the
cable drum and have a sufficient cross-
sectional area
(10 m = 1.5 mm

, 30 m = 2.5 mm

).
Connector cable and extension cable
must not be damaged.
Connect appliance to correctly earthed
power sources only.
All current-carrying components in the
work area must be protected against
sprayed water.
Do not touch a plug with wet hands.
An earth-leakage circuit breaker
provides additional protection for the
operator (30 m A).
