detergent pump.

The brush head is switched on and off by lowering and raising it.

Raise: Press the pedal downward and lock it towards the right.
Î
Lower: Press the pedal downwards; move it to the left and re-
lease it upward.
The brush head will automatically start up as soon as the appliance
is driven forward/backwards.
The desired brush contact pressure is adjusted by means of the lever.
The setting is adjusted in several detents. With each detent, by which
the lever is pressed down, the brush contact pressure is reduced.
Note
Only use the lever while the brush head is lowered. When moving
the lever while the brush head is raised, there can be injuries by the
lever flying upwards.
While the brush head is raised, the press spring on the brush head
pickup is compressed.
If the brush head is lowered, the press spring is decompressed and
presses the brush head onto the floor.
When the brush head is lowered, the microswitch switches on the
brush motors.
If the brush head is raised, the microswitch turns the brush motors
back off.
