hinge, etc.) can be regularly slightly lubricated to ensure better operation. Other maintenance and cleaning procedures 

should be adhered to detailed instructions stated in the manual of the equipment.

• Safety harness is basic of fall arrest equipment and complies with EN 361:2002.

• Using the harness in connection with personal protective equipment against falls from a height must be compatible with 

manual instructions of this equipment and obligatory standards:

1. EN353-1, EN353-2, EN355, EN354, EN360 - for the fall arrest systems;

2. EN362 - for the connectors;

3. EN1496, EN341 - for rescue devices;

4. EN795 - for anchor devices.

DESCRIPTION: 

Full body harness is made of pieces of polyester webbing which are sewn and connected by metal 

buckles. This configuration guarantee full safety and comfort work.

BASIC EQUIPMENT:

 back attaching buckle - for attaching fall arrest system; front attaching loops - for attaching fall arrest 

system; connecting and adjusting buckles - for comfort wearing and using of harness;

TIME OF USE

PERIODIC INSPECTIONS:

 Safety harness must be inspected at least once every 12 months from the date of first use.

Periodic inspections must only be carried out by a competent and trained person, authorized by the manufacturer. 

Depending on the type and working environment, more frequent inspections may be necessary.

Every periodic inspection must be recorded in the Identity Card of the equipment.

MAXIMUM LIFE SPAN OF THE EQUIPMENT:

 The maximum life span of the harness is 10 years from the date of 

manufacture.

ATTENTION:

 The harness maximum life span depends on the intensity of usage and the environment of usage.

Using the harness in rough environment, marine environment, contact with sharp edges, exposure to extreme 

temperatures or aggressive substances, can reduce the life span of the harness.

WITHDRAWAL FROM USE:

 The harness must be withdrawn from use immediately and it must be destroyed when it has 

been used to arrest a fall or it fails to pass inspection or there is any doubt as to its reliability.
