4-2 Installing the machine
The NC Series is available in two kinds of installations, non-submerged and semi-
submerged.
■
Non-submerged installation
Install the machine correctly by
referring to the illustration.
Install the bolts and nuts to the
machine table.
Fit the rubber cushions onto
the bolts.
Then mount the machine
properly onto the rubber
cushions.
■
Semi-submerged installation
Install the machine correctly by
referring to the illustration.
Secure
the
oil
reservoir
installation brackets to the
machine table with screws.
Fit the rubber cushions onto
the screws.
Then mount the machine
properly onto the rubber
cushions.

< Note >
Before changing the needle bar stroke, be sure to turn off the power.
After the needle bar stroke adjustment, make sure that retighten the two screws A
securely.
And when the needle bar stroke changing, check to make sure the timing of the needle
and looper. (See chapter 5)

TIMING OF THE LOOPER TO THE NEEDLES
5-1 Changing the needle bar stroke
Loosen screws A and turn needle bar link C. To change the needle bar stroke, bring flat
surface D to the top or bottom. When the needle bar and flat surface D come to the highest
position, the stroke of needle bar stroke is set to 33mm. At the time of shipment of the
machine, needle bar stroke is 33mm.
