7 Field deployment – Configuration
7.1 Configuration of flowIQ® Gateway
If all parameters have been decided during ordering, the gateway is configured from factory and
there is no need for further configuration.
When you receive flowIQ® Gateway, the device is in transport mode. In transport mode, all wireless
communication is deactivated. Wired communication modules respond on request.
Transport mode can be initiated by disassembling the top and bottom parts and assemble them
again.
Transport mode can be left by allowing the connected flowIQ® 2200/3200 meter to register water
flow or going to “EndSetup” in "SETUP loop". Synchronization between the meter and gateway can
take up to 20 seconds.
