Step 5 - Fixed Panels Installation
Note: The wide fixed panel is installed on the same side as
the bumper closer to the side jamb

(fig. 5.3).
Starting on the door opening side, slide the long bottom
water seal under the wide fixed panel (fig. 5.1 and fig. 5.2).
Use soapy water as required.
Gently install the fixed panel on the bottom track and slide
it into the groove of the side jamb . Lightly push the header
track up to facilitate the fixed panel installation (fig. 5.3).
Note: The top clips are different than the right and left clips ,
see the small marking on the part; Top , L: left, R: right (fig.
5.5 and fig. 5.6). Fix the panel in position using the top clips
provided (fig. 5.4). Then install the right and left clips at the
bottom of the panel; apply pressure against the the glass to
facilitate the clips installation. Install the clip caps on the
screws (fig.5.4).
From the inside of the shower and starting from the bottom,
insert the side jamb water seal between the side jamb and
the fixed panel using the
installation tool
(fig. 5.7 and fig.
5.8). As required, cut the water seal excess.
Repeat these steps with the narrow fixed panel.

Etape 5 - Installation des panneaux fixes
Note: Le panneau fixe large doit être installé du même côté
que le pare-choc près du montant de côté (a) (fig. 5.3).
Glisser le joint d’étanchéité long sur le rebord inférieur du panneau
fixe large
(fig. 5.1 et fig. 5.2) en débutant du côté de l’ouverture de
la porte. Utiliser de l’eau savoneuse au besoin.
Déposer délicatement le panneau fixe large sur le rail du
bas
et le glisser dans la rainure du
montant de côté
. Soulever
légèrement le rail du haut pour faciliter l’installation du
panneau fixe
(fig. 5.3).
Note:
Les
butées gauche, droite et du haut
sont différentes, voir
l’inscription sur la pièce; Top: haut, L: gauche, R: droite (fig. 5.5
et fig. 5.6).
Visser tout d’abord les butées du haut sur le rail du haut
pour maintenir le
panneau fixe
en position (fig. 5.4). Visser
ensuite les butées gauche et droite sur le rail du bas en
appliquant une pression contre le verre. Mettre les
capuchons
sur les vis des butées (fig. 5.4).
De l’intérieur de la douche et en débutant par le bas, insérer
le
joint d’étanchéité
entre le
montant de côté
et le
panneau
fixe à l’aide du gabarit d’installation (fig. 5.7 et fig. 5.8).
Couper l’excédent si nécessaire.
Répéter cette étape avec le panneau fixe étroit.
