2 Safety
2.1 Safety instructions for decorative elements (filling)
FIRE DANGER!
The fireplace filling must be placed as prescribed. It is not permitted to change
the quantity or configuration of the filling. A change may cause a fire hazard.
WARNING!
The ignition/ionization pin must remain uncovered, pay attention to this when
placing the filling. Careless decoration of the gas fire can cause incorrect
ignition and/or a dangerous situation.
WARNING!
If the fireplace is supplied with Natural Spark Generator, do not remove the
plastic filler cap during installation. The plastic filler cap is required to ensure
proper operation. The filler cap is then covered with a piece of ceramic log
when installing the fireplace filler.
CAUTION!
Small hair cracks may appear in the ceramic logs during use of the fireplace,
these do not adversely affect the operation or flame pattern of the fireplace.
Hairline cracks are not covered by the guarantee.
CAUTION!
During use, the metal interior of the fireplace will expand. This may cause
damage or unevenness in the lacquer layer of the metal. These can be repaired
with the spray can supplied.
2.2 Safety related to use
There are risks attached to using a gas fire. The temperature of all visible parts
of the gas fire can rise steeply and there is a risk of fire or combustion. Be sure
that the following safety precautions have been taken:
