Prior to performing the following procedure, remove
the feed motor assembly, the pickup, the shaft and
the shaft holder.

Turn over the mechanism base and remove the
three screws

attaching the spindle motor

assembly.

Removing the spindle motor assembly

(See Fig.20~22)

Remove the three screws

and the spindle base.

When reassembling, set the card wire
extending from the spindle motor
board to the notch of the spindle base.
