Skipping TV Commercials During
Playback
To enjoy recorded programmes without any
interruptions, press
[ ] .

During playback, press [ ].
Normal playback will start 30-second advanced
point from the point at which you press
[ ] .
Each time you press [ ] , the start point will
move another 30 seconds forward and playback
resume automatically.
You can press
[ ] up to 6 times (180 seconds.)
Pause

During playback, press [PAUSE p ].
Playback will pause with the sound muted.

Press [PLAY

] to resume playback.
For JPEG files, playback will start from the
beginning of the track.
Step by Step Playback

During playback, press [PAUSE p ].

Press [ B / F ] repeatedly.
Each time you press [
F
] , playback will go
forward one frame (or step) at a time with the
sound muted.
To go backward one frame (or step), press
[
B
] .
Press and hold [ F ] to continue going forward.
To continue going backward, press and hold
[ B ] .

Press [PLAY P ] to resume playback.
Note
• Only step by step forward is available when playing
back Video CDs.
Slow Forward / Slow Reverse
Playback

then press [SLOW ] or [SLOW ].
Each time you press [SLOW ] or [SLOW ] ,
the approximate speed change as follows. (The
sound will remain muted.)
To return to normal playback, press [PLAY
