4 Permanent settings in programming mode
By instructing your IMPRESSA to automatically switch itself off, you
can cut down your energy consumption. If this function is activated,
your IMPRESSA switches off automatically after the preset time fol-
lowing the last action on the machine.
You can set the automatic switch-off time to 15 minutes or
0.5 – 15 hours.
Precondition: ‘Please select product:’ is displayed.

Turn the Rotary Switch until the program item ‘Machine set-
tings 1 (4/6)’ is displayed.

Press the ‘Switch off after’ button.

Press the ‘ < ’ or ‘ > ’ button to change the setting.

Press the ‘Save’ button.
‘Saved’ appears briefly on the display.

Press the P button to exit programming mode.
‘Please select product:’
The water volume is given as standard in ‘oz’. You can change this
setting to ‘ml’ in programming mode.
Example: Proceed as follows to change the unit for the amount of
water from ‘ml’ to ‘oz’ .
