Removing/installing the stainless steel blades
CAUTION Sharp parts can cause injury!
•
The cutting surfaces of the stainless steel blades are very
sharp! Handle the stainless steel blades with care.
NOTE
Installing the blades incorrectly can re-
sult in damage!
•
Only install the blades with the seal in place.

Place the stainless steel jug

on its side on an underlay.

To unlock the blade unit

push the lever on the under-
side of the jug

to the position .
The blade unit is unlocked and can be removed.
•
The blade unit is installed using the same steps in re-
verse order.
Important:
- When installing, the lugs on the blade holder must fit
into the recesses on the jug.
- Make sure that after installing the blade unit the lever
is set at the marking .
Stainless steel jug
CAUTION Risk of injury from the jug wall becom-
ing hot, from hot splashing foodstuffs
and hot steam!
•
At cooking temperatures above 60 °C, foodstuffs that
spit or splash out, and any contact with the walls of the
jug can lead to burns.
•
Do not exceed the maximum fill quantity of the stainless
steel jug. The maximum fill quantity is marked on the
wall of the jug (2 litres, marking ).
•
Make sure when removing the stainless steel jug that
none of the hot contents can escape.

The heating film to heat/cook foods is integrated in the
base of the stainless steel jug.
•
The stainless steel jug has a capacity of 2 litres. The fill
quantity is marked on the wall of the jug in 0.5l increments.

Insert the stainless steel jug

Note:
If you cannot press the jug down completely:
- Check that the blade unit is locked correctly.
- Turn the blade unit carefully in the container so that
the blade coupling engages with the motor.
Jug lid
Important:
•
Do not operate the appliance without having the seal of
the jug lid

and the measuring cup

in place.
•
Ensure when fitting the seal that the side labelled
BACK
is facing the jug lid. Otherwise the lid will not close cor-
rectly.
Info:
The appliance has a security mechanism that pre-
vents operation if the jug lid is not in position and locked.

Measuring cup
CAUTION Risk of injury from hot splashing food-
stuffs and hot steam!
•
At high speeds and in PULSE mode, always ensure that
the measuring cup is in place and firmly pressed down
onto the jug lid.
•
Only remove the measuring cup for speed levels 1 - 3.
Info:
The measuring cup can be fixed in the jug lid using
a bayonet closure. It has a fill quantity of 100 ml. You can
use the measuring cup
e.g.
- to add further ingredients into the pot,
- to maintain the temperature, when the measuring cup
is in place,
- to regulate the release of steam.
Mixing blade
NOTE
Incorrect use can cause damage!
•
Do not use the mixing blade to knead firm dough. Only
use the stainless steel blades for this.
•
Only use the mixing blade for speed levels 1 - 3.
Exception:
When whipping cream and egg whites.
•
The PULSE function to increase the speed may not be
used in conjunction with the mixing blade.
•
When using the mixing blade do not insert objects
through the opening in the lid.
•
Do not block the mixing blade by adding foodstuffs.
Info:

and to whip cream.
