Description
Activity (top)
• Solid green—Indicates that the SAS drive is
installed.
• Green (blinking)—Indicates the I/O activity.
Status (bottom)
• Solid red—Indicates failed drive for Serial Attached
SCSI (SAS), Serial Advanced Technology Attachment
(SATA), or Non-volatile memory express (NVMe)
with Rapid Storage Technology enterprise (RSTe)
support.
• Red (blinking):
• At 1 Hz—Indicates rebuild drive for SAS/SATA
with RSTe support.
• Two blinks and one stop at 1 Hz—Indicates hot
spare for SAS/SATA with RSTe support.
• On for five seconds, then off—Indicates power
on for SAS/SATA with RSTe support.
• At 4 Hz—Indicates identify drive for SAS/SATA
with RSTe support.
• Solid green—Indicates that it is safe to remove
NVMe device.
• Amber (blinking at 1 Hz)—Indicates attention state.
NOTE: Do not remove NVMe device.
