Description
Apply a single-rate two-color policer—except for a physical interface policer—to Layer 3
input or output traffic at a logical interface.
•
To rate-limit all traffic types, regardless of the protocol family, you can apply a logical
interface policer at the logical unit level of a supported interface.
•
To rate-limit traffic of a specific protocol family, you can apply a basic two-color policer,
a bandwidth policer, or a logical interface policer at the protocol family level of a
supported interface.
NOTE:
You cannot apply a physical interface policer as part of the interface
configuration. You can apply a physical interface policer by referencing the
policer from a physical interface filter term.

—Name of one policer to evaluate packets received on the interface.
output
policer-name
—Name of one policer to evaluate packets transmitted on the
interface.
