The next step is to select a device if you are connected with     a C8k frame.

C8702

 system controller as well as the 

d07

 Ethernet interface are talking internally via the 

CAN-bus with the physical processing device(s). In a C8k system the devices are the processing 
modules (C8007) while the 

d07

 is treated as one device with almost the same behaviour as the 

C8007

. 

 
For a 

d07

 there is only one device. Therefore you do not need      to make a selection.
