1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 BASIC FUNCTIONS

on-line remote control of

digital transmission processors

setting up the hardware

storage of preset data and hardware setup data on HD

upload of preset data from HD into the processor

off-line editing of preset data
1.2 ONLINE REMOTE OPERATION
If the soft button
<CONNECT>
is turned on (green letters), the application is on line in other words
connected with a pre selected device. Now you will be able to :
-
set the processing parameters live
-
read the level meter displays and processing displays
-
set the setup parameters
-
edit preset data off-line in the background of the actual processing
-
store preset data and hardware setup data on the PCs HD
1.3 OFFLINE EDITING OF PARAMETERS
If the soft button
<CONNECT>
is turned off (black letters) you are off line in other words
disconnected from a pre selected device. Now you will be able to :
-
change processing parameters without effecting the actual processing
-
edit setup parameters
-
edit preset data
-
store preset data and hardware setup data on the PCs HD
1.4 DATA TRANSFER
Connecting / reconnecting
with the device will transfer all
data from the device and will overwrite the applications data.
All previously made settings in the GUI will be lost!
UPLOAD
data to the device will overwrite the data of the
device. When finished it will read back the new data from the
device and will display this data in the applications GUI.
The original device data will be lost!
There is one exception: If the option “Overwrite current parameters” is
not checked
, the “on air”
parameters will
not
be changed.
