3. REMOTE CONNECTION
Since the introduction of the
LevelMagic ™ feature for d07 and C8007 , all C8k systems are equipped
with a system controller C8702 . The d07s have a built in Ethernet controller. So the devices must
have connection to the Local Area Network (LAN) to be available for the C8007control software that
runs on a PC (OS WXP recommended) with access to this network.
Normally you can run only one application on a PC. For special needs there is the
C8007_2x.exe
that will launch two applications on a PC – the so called “double pack” .
You can run as many PCs with a C8007control application within the network as you like. The only
limitation is that only up to 3 C8007control applications can exploit one d07 device or one C8k frame
at a time.
