4 Calibrating a pH combination electrode
4.3
With a temperature sensor
Calibration
point 1
✱
Immerse the combination electrode and the temperature sensor in the first
buffer solution, and stir.
✱
Press the
key to accept the measurement.
The next calibration step will be indicated.
Rinsing
✱
Rinse the combination electrode and the temperature sensor with de-
ionized (distilled) water and dry off.
Calibration
point 2
✱
Immerse the combination electrode and the temperature sensor in the
second buffer solution, and stir.
Buffers from the standard or DIN series will automatically be detected.
✱
Enter the pH value for a manual buffer with the
or
key.
✱
Press the
key to accept the measurement.
If 2-point calibration was selected, this has now been successfully
concluded, and the state of the combination electrode will be displayed,
see Chapter 4.5 “Display of the electrode state”, page 20.
Rinsing
✱
Rinse the combination electrode and the temperature sensor with de-
ionized (distilled) water and dry off.
Calibration
point 3
(only for 3-point
calibration)
✱
Immerse the combination electrode and the temperature sensor in the third
buffer solution.
Buffers from the standard or DIN series will automatically be detected.
✱
Enter the pH value for a manual buffer with the
or
key.
