Check the oil level
1. Place the lawn mower on a level surface
with the engine switched off.
2. Unscrew the oil filler plug and wipe the
dipstick.

3. Replace the filler plug with the dipstick,
without screwing it in.
4. Remove the dipstick again and check the
oil level. The oil level should be between
the Max and Min marks.

NOTE:
Do not screw in the dipstick when checking
the level – just insert it up to the thread.
Fill up with oil
IMPORTANT:
There is no oil in the lawn mower on delivery.
Always fill with engine oil before using for
the first time.
1. Unscrew the oil filler cap.

2. Top up with oil if the oil level is near or
below the Min mark on the dipstick.
3. Top up to the Max mark on the dipstick.
Do not overfill. Wipe off any spilled oil.
4. Replace the oil filler plug.
Changing the oil
WARNING!
Switch off the lawn mower before changing
the oil.
1. Undo the oil filler plug.
2. Use an oil change pump and suck up the
old oil from the oil tank.
3. Refill with new oil with the help of
a funnel to the Max mark on the
dipstick. The new oil should be at room
temperature when changing. Do not
overfill. Wipe off any spilled oil.
4. Screw in the oil filler plug.
FUEL
IMPORTANT:
There is no petrol in the lawn mower on
delivery. Always fill up with fuel before use.
1. Clean the area around the fuel filler cap
before opening.
2. Open the fuel filler cap and check the fuel
level.
3. Fill up with fuel if the level is too low. Avoid
spilling fuel when filling. Do not overfill.
The fuel must not come up the filler tube.
4. Wipe up any spilled fuel before starting
the engine.
5. Replace and tighten the cap on the tank
by hand.
NOTE:
• Petrol is a perishable product. Do not
buy more petrol than you can use in
30 days.
• Do not mix oil in the petrol.
• Do not fill more than to the bottom edge
of the filler tube, so that the fuel can
expand.
• Do not overfill the tank.
CLEANING/REPLACING THE SPARK
PLUG
1. Remove the spark plug cap.
2. Undo the spark plug with a spark plug
spanner.
3. Unscrew the spark plug by hand.
