Cleaning
1.
Blow dust and other debris off the lenses, or use a soft lens brush.
2.
To remove dirt or fingerprints from the lenses, use a soft cotton cloth and clean with a circular
movement. Using a rough cloth, or rubbing too hard on the lenses can scratch them and may also
cause permanent damage. A special microfibre cloth (available from most camera shops) is ideal
for regular cleaning of the lenses on binoculars.
3.
For more thorough cleaning, use lens paper and cleaning fluids (or isopropyl alcohol) which is
specially designed for cameras. Always apply the fluid to the cleaning cloth - never directly on a
lens.
