ENGLISH
The dust container is semi-transparent. Check the dust level by holding it up to a light. Check that the
dust level has not exceeded the MAX mark, as this reduces vacuuming performance significantly.
Changing and cleaning filters
1.
Remove the dust container and filter unit as described above.
2.
Unscrew the two screws that secure the filter in the filter unit using a small Phillips screwdriver.
3.
Gently knock dust off the filter or vacuum it. If the filter is very dirty, clean with warm water and
detergent.
4.
Let the filter air dry until it is completely dry before reinstalling. Do not dry the filter with a hair dryer
as this could cause damage. Do not put the filter back in the appliance before it is completely dry.
Do not reuse damaged filters. Contact your dealer or authorised service representative. Do not use the
appliance without filter as this will damage the motor.
Special nozzles
The appliance can be used without special nozzles. However the special nozzles improve the vacuuming
performance of the appliance.
•
Soft, wide nozzle: used to vacuum up crumbs from the table. Pull the vacuum cleaner towards you
when using this nozzle.
•
Corner nozzle: used for confined spaces.
•
Brush for corner nozzle: used to loosen trapped crumbs.
Disposal of batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Batteries must be recycled in
accordance with applicable regulations. Spent batteries must not be burned.
Rechargeable batteries are spent when they have a short running time even though they are fully
charged. Rechargeable batteries must then be replaced. Contact your dealer or authorised service
representative.
Open the battery cover on the bottom of the appliance to charge the rechargeable battery. Loosen the
two ends of the connection cables, and dispose of the battery in accordance with applicable regulations.
