USE

Range of applications

This submersible pump is designed for non-commercial use in the home and garden. Submersible pumps
are usually used for pumping out after flooding, fluid transfer, draining containers, pumping water from
springs or wells, pumping out boats and for oxygenation of water and short-term fluid circulation.
The pumps are fully submersible (waterproof) and can be used down to 7 m below the liquid surface. This
submersible pump can handle clean or slightly contaminated liquids (maximum particle size 5 mm), pool
water and soapy water.

NOTE!

Avoid dry running - it causes heavy wear. The pump must be turned off immediately if it does not
generate a flow of water.

The overheat protection on the motor automatically switches off the pump in the event of
overheating. The motor automatically switches on again once it has cooled. See the
troubleshooting section about causes and actions.

Never pull the power cord to remove the plug from the mains socket.

Do not pull the power cord to install, move, lower, lift or secure the pump. Use a rope, attached to
the pump's carrying handle.

Always flush the pump with clean water after pumping chlorinated pool water or other liquids that
can leave behind contaminants.

Sand and other abrasive materials in the liquid lead to increased wear and impair the operation of
the pump.

Do not run the pump for more than 10 minutes against a closed outlet.

This submersible pump is capable of pumping down to a water level of about 5 mm in manual
mode, but not in automatic mode.

The submersible pump is equipped with automatic venting. If the water level drops below the
venting valve, some water will be forced out through the venting valve. This is normal during
venting and is not a fault.

If the pump pumps down to the minimum level in manual mode and the water then rises again, the
pump is not vented automatically. In this case, the pump must be turned off briefly and switched
back on again.
