SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use!
Read these instructions carefully before using the machine.
The machine must only be installed, used and maintained by persons who have read and
understood these instructions and who have received information on and understood local safety
regulations.
The machine must only be used for its intended purpose.
Do not allow children to play with the machine.
The machine must not be used to lift, transport or support people or animals.
The machine must not be changed or modified.
Check that the machine is intact and in perfect condition on delivery. Return the machine
immediately if it is defective.
Check that the place where the chain block is to be hung up is sufficiently strong in relation to the
load on the chain block and its weight.
Do not remove any warning stickers.
Replace any damaged warning stickers.
Make sure no persons go under or stand beside a suspended load.
Do not lift more than what the chain block is intended to lift.
Do not lift if the chain is prevented from forming a vertical line during the lift.
Do not use the chain block if the chain is twisted, kinked or damaged.
The chain must run correctly through the chain block.
Do not wind the chain around the load.
The load must be correctly fitted in the lifting hook. The catch must be closed.
The load must not sit on the tip of the lifting hook.
The chain block must not be used to pull the load up to the lifting area.
The chain block must only be operated manually.
Do not leave the load unattended in the chain block.
Never lengthen the lifting chain.
Do not weld the lifting chain.
Do not use any part of the chain block as an earth during welding.

DESCRIPTION
The chain block is operated manually by means of
an endless chain that runs through the block. The
sides in the block are protected by two heavy-duty
steel plates. The lifting hooks are fitted with catches.
The chain block is intended to be hung up in a ring,
carriage, roof beam, jib crane or overhead crane.
