Call Progress Monitoring
The ARA-1 provides a pair of methods for monitoring the progress of ongoing calls:

Call Progress voice prompts
•
Call Management Information available via web browser
The ARA-1 provides voice prompts (automated voice messages) that allow the radio user to keep
track of the progress of the call (
connecting, disconnecting,
etc.). The factory default setting is
Enable
. If you do not want these prompts transmitted over the radio, set to
Disable
(See Section
3.4.1.1). This function operates with both the DTMF and the COR Cadence call initiation modes.
Alternatively, the user can browse to the ARA-1’s IP address and select the
Call Management
page to view current Call Progress and Call Status information. See Figure 4-1.
