The Jøtul FS
173
is a freestanding product using the Jøtul I
520
as the burn chamber, and can be positioned against combustible
walls at the distances described in
Fig. 1
.
The installation of a fireplace must be carried out in compliance
with national laws and regulations. All local ordinances must
also be complied with when products are installed.
Contact your local building authorities regarding restrictions and
installation requirements.
The product may not be used until it has been inspected and
approved by qualified personnel.
The product has been tested and documented as a freestanding
stove in accordance with EN 13240.
The approval label for the freestanding product comes with the
installation instructions for the surround. Cut off the label and
attach it outside the top rear plate.
