11.7.2.Charging Lithium batteries
To check the battery charge, always use the special indicator shown on the di ‐
splay on the remote control ʺ Display (p. 55) ʺ . The batteries can be recharged even
when using the machine (obviously the recharging times in this case will be lon ‐
ger). The batteries can be recharged even when they are not completely down.
If the charge is less than 20% an audible warning signal will be activated whene ‐
ver the electric motor is started, to warn the user to charge the machine. If the
charge is less than 10%, in addition to the audible warning signal, reduced speed
is activated and an icon comes on in position 4 ʺ Fig. 38 Reduced(p. 56) ʺ .
To start recharging the battery simply connect the main power supply to the
socket and close the circuit breaker.
During charging, the machine must be continuously monitored by
trained personnel.
Do not leave the machine in continuous charging for time periods
exceeding 24 hours.
Pay attention, the charger works even if the electronic board of the
machine is turned off. So the batteries can be charging even if the re ‐
mote control is off.
Charge the machine using only the battery charger installed on it. The
use of a charger other than that provided voids any kind of warranty
on batteries and can cause damage to people or things
