EMERGENCY
MANOEUVRES
The
machine
has
been
designed
also
considering
possible
emergency
situations
such
as
mechanical
and
electrical
breakdown,
sudden
indisposition
of
the
opera
‐
tor
etc.
In
all
of
these
cases
interventions
can
be
made
on
the
machine
from
the
basket
and
from
the
ground
in
a
way
to
take
the
machine
back
to
the
transport
configuration
or
however
into
a
way
to
be
able
to
rescue
the
occupant/s
from
the
basket.
The
intervention
procedures
are
given
below.
11.5.1.Activation
of
emergency
descent
from
the
basket
The
emergency
descent
procedure
of
the
basket
can
be
actuated
from
the
basket
itself
only
if
the
machine
electric
plant
is
not
compromised;
act
in
the
following
way:
Remember
that
the
presence
of
staff
on
the
ground
is
mandatory
du
‐
ring
platform
functioning.
The
manoeuvres
described
below
must
be
performed
in
SEQUENCE
starting
from
the
first
paragraph
and
passing
to
the
next
ones
till
the
last
one
only
if
the
emergency
manoeuvre
that
is
being
performed
is
not
functioning.
