Selecting Mono/Stereo/Quad Operation Mode
The DIP switches on the DAFV
2
sets three options for its operations: Mono/stereo/
quad operation, and model of mixer.
DIP switches 7 and 8 are used to select the operation mode:
Mono
SW7 ....................... Off
SW8 ....................... Off
Stereo
SW7 ....................... On
SW8 ....................... Off
Quad
SW7 ....................... Off
SW8 ....................... On
No Function
SW7 ....................... On
SW8 ....................... On
Troubleshooting
If the DAFV
2
does not give the expected results, take some time to do some trouble-
shooting. Confirm the DIP switch settings. Check that the cables are correctly wired
and connected. Check that power is connected and the DAFV
2
is switched on,
indicated by the LED next to the power switch.
If you are unable to make the edit controller communicate with the DAFV
2
, review
the edit controller’s documentation to verify that any user-definable menu items have
been set correctly.
