Model-No.: JK 127 ... has been designed for use in an electromagnetic envi-
ronment in which the radiated HF interference is controlled. The operator of
the device can help to reduce electromagnetic interference by maintaining a
safe distance between the portable and mobile HF communication devices
(transmitters) and the device itself as recommended below with regard to the
communication device's maximum output power.

The recommended safe distance (d) in metres (m) can be determined by
using the equation that applies to the transmitters frequency in the case of
transmitters where their nominal power is not listed above, whereby 'P' is the
nominal transmitter power in Watts (W) according to the details supplied by
the manufacturer of the transmitter.
Comment 1: The higher value applies to 80 MHz und 800 MHz.
Comment 2: The propagation of electromagnetic waves is affected by absorp-
tion and reflexes caused by buildings, objects and people.
