5.1 “Zero clearing” correction operation
To perform zero clearing operations,(In order to prevent stray impedance from affecting the
measurement accuracy, an open/short circuit correction is required)Users can use either of the
following two methods.
5.1.1 Full frequency reset:
a)
Press the menu key[SETUP]

Then press the soft key "user correction", the instrument will be
displayed as < user correction > page.
b)
Move the cursor to the open circuit area,“ON”,“OFF” and “open circuit full frequency
clearing”will be displayed in the soft key area.
c)
Keep the test fixture open circuit
，
press “open-circuit full-frequency zero-clearing” to perform
open-circuit correction, until the status information prompt area shows open-circuit correction is
completed.
d)
Press“ON”

Open the calibration function of the instrument.
e)
Insert short circuit chip (JK26010) into the test fixture.
f)
Moving cursor to short circuited area,“ON,“OFF”and“Short circuit full frequency clearing” will
be displayed in the soft key area.
g)
Press“Short circuit full frequency clearing”to perform short-circuit correction,until the status
information prompt area shows that the short circuit correction is completed.
h)
Press“ON”,turn on the short circuit correction function of the instrument.
i)
Move the cursor to the load area.“ON”, “OFF”will be displayed in the soft key area.
j)
Press“OFF”

Turn off the load correction function of the instrument.
k)
Move the cursor to the frequency 1 area.“ON”
