3.3.3 Output resistance
JK2817N /JK2811B offers two kinds of output resistance to choose from:100 Ω

When testing inductance, the same value of output resistance must be guaranteed for data
comparison with other types of testers.
Note: when using bias output, the default is100 Ω.
Output resistance setting operation steps
Perform the following steps to set the output resistance of the instrument.
1) move the cursor to the internal resistance area. The soft key area of the screen displays the
following soft keys.

Press soft key 100 Ω, choose 100 Ω output resistance.
Press soft key 30 Ω choose 30 Ω output resistance.
3.3.4 DC resistance polarity
JK2817N/JK2811B can provide two DC resistance test modes:ALT

FIX.At present, only ALT
mode is allowed. ALT mode is positive, negative DC voltage measurement, FIX is locked positive
voltage measurement.The ALT mode is conducive to degaussing when measuring the DC
resistance of the inductor , and the measuring value is more accurate.
Perform the following steps to set the polarity of DC resistance measurement.

Press the soft key ALT to select alternate mode. Press the soft key FIX to select the lock positive
level mode. Currently only the ALT mode is available.
3.3.5 DC resistance range
JK2817N/JK2811B can set the DC resistance range separately. The specific range is the same as
that of LCR. See 3.1.2 for the specific range and operation method.
3.3.6 DC level
The DC level of JK2817N and JK2831 is fixed to 0.1V
