IPOD
iPod Overview
•
iPod is a trademark of the Apple Inc.
•
This playback device is equipped with an iPod dock that enables you to listen to music from your iPod
through the device’s loudspeakers as well as to recharge the batteries. This device is equipped with a
universal iPod connection. Models with 30 contacts are listed below:

Before connecting your iPod, please read the iPod operating instructions, especially the safety
instructions with regards to usage with other devices.
Attaching/Removing the iPod
•
Place your iPod carefully onto the iPod connection (7). The iPod must face the front of the device.
•
With a dock-adaptor:
Attach the correct adaptor (not included in delivery) to the connection. Then set the
iPod on it. The iPod should not be in a protective cover or in a protective casing.
•
For removal, carefully lift the iPod and take it off.
It is recommended to stop playback by pressing the button
/BAND
(25) first before removing the
iPod.
Using the iPod
•
Turn on the playback device. When using an iPod touch, press the music symbol.
•
Select
IPOD
using the button
FUNCTION
(24) and the first track will begin playing.
•
The iPod can also be controlled using the iPod function buttons. First unlock the iPod keyboard if necessary.
•
Setting the volume:
The volume can be regulated with the
VOL+
(27) and
VOL-
(34)
buttons.
+
increases
the volume and
-
reduces it.
•
Playback/pause:
Press the
PLAY/PAUSE
(32) button
in order to begin or pause playback. Playback
and pause will be displayed in the display of the iPod.
•
Stopping playback:
To stop playback, press the button
/BAND
(25).
•
Next or previous track:
Push the buttons
TUNING -/
(33) and
/
(26) to skip to
the next or to the previous track. By pushing on the
TUNING -/
button (33), the current track will be
repeated from the beginning. When the button is pushed twice, then the previous track will be played. By
pushing on the
/
button (26), the next track will be played.
