Cutoff (Cut off)
・
If you configure cutoff sound pressure peak value, any
measurement below that ratio (%) will not be displayed
on the sound pressure map.
・
In case there are several leak points, the display will not
show the one(s) with small sound. Please configure
cutoff setting larger in case you wish to measure at a
location with several sound source.
・
Configurable ratios are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 100 (%). Default is 10%.
・
It shows all sound sources if you configure cutoff ratio as 100.
・
Regardless to the cutoff setting, all data is saved.
④
Threshold coefficient (Threshold)
With this instrument, a spot with sound pressure peak
in the measured area is always displayed. Therefore,
even if there is no leak sound, it may pick up some
noises and display them on your screen. In order to
avoid such case, you can configure threshold
coefficient to judge whether it is leak sound source or
not.
・
In case the sound source is smaller than the configured threshold coefficient, then it will not be
displayed on the screen. In case you wish to pick up very weak leak sound, then configure threshold
coefficient setting lower than usual or disable it.
・
Threshold = Threshold coefficient (K) × Standard value
Standard value is what equivalent to no sound (noise) level.
・
Configurable values are 0, and every 0.2 between 1.0 and 9.8.
Threshold coefficient setting becomes disabled when you configure at “0”. Default is 2.4.
⑤
Gain (Gain)
Able to configure reception sensitivity with Gain.
・
Configurable range in 7 levels from 1 to 7. Gain level 7
is the most sensitive setting.
Default is 4.
・
Configure the setting higher in case you wish to measure
small sound in a quiet environment.
・
Configure the setting lower in case you wish to measure in a noisy environment.
Also, please lower the setting in case it becomes range over.
