As mentioned above, error gets larger as the difference between the actual distance and the inputted
distance gets larger. Therefore, please try to input distance that is as much close as the actual
distance.

Environment temperature and humidity
Attenuation rate changes depending on measurement environment, such as temperature and
humidity.
The leak amounts this instrument display are based on temperature 20

and relative humidity
65%.
Theoretically, in case the surrounding temperature is lower than the standard condition mentioned
above, or incase humidity is lower, then the attenuation rate tends to be lower. Especially, when the
surrounding temperature is lower than 5
℃
, or the surrounding humidity is lower than 30%, this
mentioned tendency becomes more predominate. Therefore, leak amounts tend to be displayed in
larger volume in such environment. Furthermore, error becomes smaller in short distance and tends
to be larger from 7-meter in distance since this is about distance attenuation rate.
It also has a tendency to be lower in attenuation rate when the surrounding temperature and
humidity are high (about 45
℃
and 65%).
As above, loudness of sounds to measure change depending on the target object’s status and
measurement condition, error comparing to its displayed result may become large. Please
understand the characteristics and consider the displayed leak amount as only a reference.
