(2) Status bar
Followings are the descriptions of information shown in the status bar on top of the screen.
Item
Description
①
Year/Month/Day
Hour : Minute
Shows current time.
You can change the date, time, and calendar format in “Basic Setting”.
②
P: Sound
pressure peak
Displays maximum sound pressure value in the displayed area.
The sound pressure value is obtained by converting the input signal into a
numerical value and beamforming calculation, and there is no unit.
③
L: Leak amount
Displays estimated gas leak amount. It is calculated with φ0.6mm hole.
You can select the unit (L/min, m
3
/h, Nm
3
/h, or none) in “Leak Setting”.
④
D: Measurement
distance (m)
Displays configured measurement distance.
Configurable values are 0.5m, and every 1 m between 1 and 20m.
Default is 3 (m).
⑤
C: Cutoff (%)
Displays configured cutoff ratio.
Configurable ratios are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 100.
Default is 10 (%).
⑥
K: Threshold
coefficient
Displays configured threshold coefficient.
Configurable values are 0, and every 0.2 between 1.0 and 9.8.
Default is 2.4.
⑦
G: Gain
Displays configured reception sensitivity.
Configurable setting range is in 7 levels from 1 to 7. Default is 4.
Gain 7 is the most sensitive setting.
⑧
Battery charged
level
Displays battery charged level.
Please refer to p.4 for detail.
(3) Measurement range over and measurement error display
The status bar turns into red in case receiving sound pressure becomes range over (sound peak
value
≥
7000) or becomes abnormal (sound pressure peak value = 0).
Please turn the “Gain” down in case the instrument shows range over.
Even if the measurement becomes range over, it continues to target the sound source. However,
the error becomes larger in leak amount since the calculation of sound pressure peak value is not
done correctly.
The instrument may be malfunctioning in case the instrument indicates abnormal values.
