Synflex or equivalent, used in conditions with 2 - 5ºC (35 - 45ºF) water temperature.

Determine temperature rise required (T
rise
).
To determine the required temperature rise (T
rise
) through the unit, subtract the inlet
temperature (T
in
) from the required total outlet temperature (T
out
) calculated in step 3.

Heater bank selection.
After calculating T
rise
use the table in Table 3 to determine the heater banks to be used.
Locate the temperature rise in the left column. Read across to determine which heaters are
required to achieve the temperature rise. A tick indicates that a heater bank should be
switched on.
