6.3- How to adjust the knives to the rotor counter knife
ATTENTION!
Turn off the tractor and remove
the ignition key before starting
the following procedure.
1.
Remove the bolts (A) and (B);
2.
Remove the sharpener cover (C);
3.
Remove the four bolts (D) and (E);
4.
Using a socket or an allen key, loosen the
bolt (H);

To facilitate the access to the bolt (H),
remove the knife that is in the direction
of the bolt.

Proper adjustment of the knives with the
rotor counter knife ensures better cutting
quality, requires less tractor power, in addition
to reducing fuel consumption. Check the
adjustment after each sharpening of the knives,
trying to maintain a maximum clearance of 0.5
mm between knife and counter knife.
