4.11.1- How to change the amount of rotor knives
The use of PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment) is mandatory during
operation, maintenance and adjustment
of the machine. Wear suitable gloves and
eye protection. Take special care when
handling knives and counter knife, these
components have sharp areas that can
cause injury if handled without proper
protection and care.
CAUTION!
The machine leaves the factory ready to
harvest with 15 knives. If you want to harvest
with 3 or 5 knives you must be aware of
the correct positioning during the removal
of the knives, according to the following
instructions.
IMPORTANT!
It is recommended to start the removal
with the knife located on top of the
bolt that secures the rotor to the shaft
(E). This will make knife / counter knife
adjustment easier later.
It is important to note that the knives
must be positioned in front of the
launchers (see the figures on the next
page).
