Users try to write a file into JetStor unified storage.

JetStor unified storage send the file through ICAP to antivirus server for scanning.
3.
Antivirus server scans the file, repairs it if it is infected, and returns the clean file to JetStor
unified storage.
4.
JetStor unified storage writes the clean file to the storage, puts the scan result in the report,
and informs the user that the write is complete.
Settings
ICAP is a lightweight protocol developed to allow scanning and modification of web content
passing through a web proxy. Being designed a lightweight protocol for high performance security
checks; it is well-suited for use with unified storage appliance and file sharing services. The
purpose is real-time monitoring all incoming files (writes) for continuous protection. The actions
taken when virus is spotted are determined by ICAP server. The infected files are displayed in
Report
tab.
