Turn on any one of the surface burner knobs to release air

from the gas lines.

Is the control knob set correctly?

Push the knob in before turning it to a setting.

Are the burner ports clogged?

Is a cross draft drawing the flame away from the igniter?

This is normal when a cross draft is present.

Is the power supply cord properly grounded/polarized?

See the Installation Instructions.

Is the burner base and/or cap positioned properly?

See “To Clean” in the “Sealed Surface Burners” section.

Has the control area been cleaned?

Excessive use of liquid cleaners in the control knob area may

cause continuous sparking. Let it dry.
