TO ADJUST THE NEEDLE BAR HEIGHT
The distance between the tip of needle on the right and the surface of needle plate (B) should be
between 11.2 and 11 .6 mm when the needle bar (C) is at the highest position.
To adjust:
1. Remove the face plate unit.
2. Turn the balance wheel toward you with your hand, and set the needle bar (C) at the highest
position.
3. Loosen the setscrew (A) to adjust the height, and tighten, the setscrew (A) after the adjust-
ment is done.
4. Turn the balance wheel toward you one cycle, and recheck the needle bar height.
5. Attach the face plate unit.
