Set the IP address, netmask and default gateway
before connecting the UMG 510 to the network. Do
not connect the UMG 510 to the network if the IP ad-
dress for the UMG 510 is not known or not set.
Get the correct IP address settings for the UMG 510
from the network administrator.

Set the device address from the following ranges:
Modbus:

Profibus:
000 ... 126
Speed
Select the speed for Modbus (available baud rates
are 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 and 115200). If
Profibus is used, the speed is detected automati-
cally.
