Maximum frame rate
This section describes how to calculate the maximum frame rate in normal mode,
excluding HDR (Linear, Knee) mode and Frame Integration (frame, Exposure) mode.
■
LinePeriod[
μs
]
The Value (A) is a fixed value for each LinkConfig(CoaXPress) and PixelFormat.
Please refer to the table below.
Calculate the LinePeriod[
μs
] using the following formulas.
LinePeriod[
μs
] = (A) ÷ 64.8
■
Maximum frame rate[Hz]
Calculate the Maximum frame rate [Hz] using the following formulas.
Maximum frame rate[Hz] = 1 ÷ (LinePeriod[
μs
] × ( 33)) × 1000000
The maximum exposure time[
μs
] that can be taken in this case can be calculated by the
following formula.
Maximum exposure time[
μs
] = 1000000÷Maximum frame rate[Hz]
– (14×LinePeriod[
μs
]) – 1
If you want to use a target exposure time[
μs
] that is longer than the maximum exposure
time [
μs
], calculate the frame rate [Hz] using the following formula.
Frame rate[Hz] = 1 ÷ (Target exposure time[
μ
s] + 14 × LinePeriod[
μ
s] +1) x 1000000

About Height in MultiROI mode.
If there is an unused area in the vertical direction between the specified areas,
add 8 to the total height of the areas to be used to obtain the Height in the above
formula. If the number of lines for unused area is smaller than 8, add the number
of lines for unused area instead of 8.
The same addition must be done for the number of unused areas.
If there is no unused area in the vertical direction between the specified areas,
use the value obtained by adding the heights of the areas to be used.
