SPOUT ASSEMBLY
Figure 1b:
Insert SPOUT SHANK (1) through center hole of Tub or mounting surface. Make sure O-RING (2) is properly
positioned into SPOUT SHANK (1). TAB (3) on SPOUT SHANK (1) should face toward the front.
Assemble RUBBER WASHER (4), FIBER WASHER (5) and LOCKNUT (6) onto threads of SPOUT SHANK (1)
from underside of tub or mounting surface. Tighten LOCKNUT (6) to securt SPOUT SHANK (1).
Figure 1d:
Mount SPOUT (13) onto SPOUT SHANK (1) and secure with
HEX WRENCH (14) supplied with faucet.
Note: Do not damage O-RING (2)
Note: All deck mounted Roman tub sets must be
installed with the tub spout outlet at least two (2)
inches above the flood level rim of the tub. See Figure 1a.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THE INSTALLER!
Please check with your local Code Authority for acceptable installation
requirements for this Roman Tub set with hand shower. Some local codes
may require a vacuum breaker and/or a pressure balanced mixing valve to
be installed in conjunction with this product.

For Crystal handles:
With VALVE in off position align CRYSTAL HANDLE (2) and install onto
VALVE STEM (7). Install HANDLE SCREW (4) and tighten. Install INDEX CAP (3).

INSTALL VALVE BODIES AND HANDLES

REMOVE HANDLES
Thread LOCKNUT (8) to bottom of VALVE BODY (1). Make sure FIBER WASHER (9)
and RUBBER WASHER (10) are installed. Insert VALVE BODY (1) through mounting
hole from underside of tub or mounting surface.
Note: If HANDLES ASSEMBLIES are installed on VALVE BODIES (1) they must be
removed to install VALVE BODIES (1) from under mounting surface.
To remove CRYSTAL KNOB HANDLE (2): Unthread INDEX CAP (3) and remove
HANDLE SCREW (4). Pull off CRYSTAL KNOB HANDLE (2) and unthread HANDLE
BASE (5). Unthread ESCUTCHEON (6).
Thread LOCK NUT (3) to bottom of DIVERTER SHANK (4). Install
FIBER WASHER (2) and SEAL WASHER (1) onto shank.
From under side of mounting surface install DIVERTER VALVE (4)
into mounting hole. Install SEAL WASHER (5), FIBER WASHER (6)
and LOCK NUT (7) onto DIVERTER VALVE (4). Center DIVERTER
VALVE and tighten LOCK NUTS (3 AND 7) to secure DIVERTER
VALVE (4).
Place DIVERTER ESCUTCHEON (8) onto DIVERTER VALVE (4). Thread
ESCUTCHEON HOLDER (9) into DIVERTER VALVE (4) until DIVERTER
ESCUTCHEON (8) is tight against mounting surface.
Thread DIVERTER KNOB (10) onto DIVERTER STEM (11).
Thread ESCUTCHEON (6) with seal onto VALVE BODY (1).Thread HANDLE BASE (5)
onto VALVE BODY (1) until snug against internal stop. Thread ESCUTCHEON (6)
counter clockwise until seated against HANDLE BASE (5). Set VALVE BODIES (1) so
that their outlets are facing toward SPOUT TEE and then tighten LOCKNUT (8)
using wrench.

Push one RING WASHER (7) and one 0-RING (8) onto end of SPOUT SHANK (1).
Slide the TEE (10) onto SPOUT SHANK (1) until it makes contact with the 0-RING (8).
Push the other 0-RING (8) and RING WASHER (7) onto the SPOUT SHANK (1). Make
sure both 0-RINGS (8) are seated into grooves of TEE (10).
Thread LOCK NUT (8) onto SHANK (1) and tighten securely. Insert FIBER WASHER
(11) into END CAP (12) and tighten END CAP (12) onto TEE (10).

HAND SHOWER ASSEMBLY
Note: Back flow prevention and 2.2 GPM
flow restrictions are included with all
Roman tub sets with hand shower
Drop SPRAY HOLDER (1) through ESCUTCHEON (2) and
into the fifth hole of the tub ledge. Be sure O-RING (3) is
properly seated in ESCUTCHEON (2). Install RUBBER
WASHER (4), FIBER WASHER (5) and LOCKNUT (6) from
underside of mounting ledge. Secure SPRAY HOLDER (1)
by tightening LOCKNUT (6).
Add SEAL WASHER (8) and connect COUPLING NUT (9)
of BRAIDED HOSE (17) to outlet nipple at the bottom of
BACKFLOW PREVENTER (16) on TRANSFER VALVE (18).
Slip SHOWER HOSE (7) with HOSE NIPPLE (11)
through SPRAY HOLDER (1) and ESCUTCHEON (2).
Install SEAL (10) into COUPLING NUT (12). Connect
COUPLING NUT (12) to HOSE NIPPLE (11) and tighten.
INSTALL second SEAL (14) and connect HAND
SHOWER (15) to SPRAY HOSE END (13). Hand tighten.
