BEFORE INSTALLATION
GENERAL WARNINGS
Any claims made after final installation for damages that
could have been identified and repaired before instal-
lation are excluded from our warranty.
As the general sale conditions establish that return of the
goods is ex-works Valvasone (province of Pordenone), Jacuzzi
Europe S.p.A. accepts no liability deriving from damages sus-
tained during transport or intermediate warehousing. Therefore,
as soon as you receive the MaxiJacuzzi
®
, it is important to
check that the packaging is in perfect condition and if not, im-
mediately notify the forwarding agent.
Prolonged sun exposure could damage the material of
which is made the spa shell, due to its capacity to absorb
heat (dark colours in particular). Don't leave the spa to sun
exposure without adequate protection when not in use
(cover thermal, gazebo, etc.).
Any damage arising by not following these warnings are
not covered by the guarantee.
• Remove the spa from the packaging and remove the front pan-
els (
5
): First, unscrew the screws at the base (
detail 1
) and
then slide out the panels from the threaded pins (
detail 2
); the
corner panels must not be removed.
If the MaxiJacuzzi is supplied with a wooden outer cover, for its
disassembly and re-assembly (after the final positioning of the
tub), refer to
5a
.
(
1
) For all transport operations use only the pallet on which
the MaxiJacuzzi
®
can be placed, while during installation support
it by using only straps of adequate capacity, that can be insert-
ed into the runners and brackets at the bottom of the spa; after
final installation, these brackets can be removed and kept for any
future handling.
WARNING
NEVER lift the MaxiJacuzzi
®
by its edge or by its
pipes.
• The empty weight of the MaxiJacuzzi
®
is substantial. Therefore it
is necessary to use suitable straps when moving it. When choos-
ing the installation site, any obstacles to movement (corridors,
doors, stairs, etc.) should therefore be taken into account; outdoor
and ground floor installation sites are obviously preferable.
If it is impossible to use transport belts, the methacrylate panels
screw-fitted at the four corners can be removed so that the cor-
ner props can be used as supports for moving the MaxiJacuzzi
®
.
NOTE: considering the weight of the MaxiJacuzzi
®
, this
type of movement must be performed with extreme care
and the customer or its representative must assume full
responsibility for it. Jacuzzi Europe accepts no liability
for damages caused by said operation or any other in-
appropriate handling procedures.
• Carefully inspect the MaxiJacuzzi
®
before proceeding with in-
stallation, checking the correct position of the couplings, pipes
and clamps (check that they are not loose).
INSTALLATION
• Your MaxiJacuzzi
®
has been designed so that the only re-
quirements for operation are connection to the electricity mains,
earth, drain outlet and water mains, all previously prepared (see
attached pre-installation sheet).
• To create a suitable support base, the gross weight must be
considered (when water and persons are added) and the re-
sulting floor load, depending on the selected model.
See the attached pre-installation sheet.
• (
2
) The MaxiJacuzzi
®
is equipped with a drain valve locat-
ed roughly on the centreline of the base. Therefore, a drain must
be located nearby (see enclosed "pre-installation diagram).
• For periodic emptying, a hose can be connected to the drain.
To do so, first remove the plug on the base and then screw on
the fitting with its gasket.
Notes
To open the valve, turn the ring nut counter-clockwise and
pull.
