ADJUSTMENTS

HYDRO SWITCH (3WD ONLY)
1.
Remove the engine cowling to gain
access to the switch.
2.
Coarse Adjustment:
Loosen mounting
screws
(Q)
. Slide the switch bracket to
position roller
(R)
close to, but not
touching, the “V” of the cam. Tighten
screws
(Q)
.
3.
Fine Adjustment:
Loosen switch
mounting screws
(S)
. Move the switch to
position roller
(R)
against the “V” of the
cam. The switch contacts should close
only after the cam moves, in the direction
of forward travel. The switch contacts
should open when the traction pedal is
returned to neutral. Tighten screws (R).
4.
Recheck the adjustment. As the traction
pedal is depressed the switch should
close within 3 to 6 mm of cam rotation.
Repeat step 3 if required.
3.10 TORQUE REQUIREMENTS
1.
Ball joints: 40.5 - 47.2 N.m.
2.
Bedknife shoe: 34 - 50 N.m.
3.
Steering wheel nut - 34-41 N.m.
4.
Wheel mounting hardware 88 -115 N.m.
Check and retorque daily until torque is
maintained.

ANTI-SWAY TETHER
1.
The tether is used to prevent the reels
from swaying during transport or gouging
the turf when lowered.
2.
Fully raise lift arms
(T)
to the transport
position to check the cable.
Note:
Stop bracket
(U)
must be up against the lift
arm.
3.
Loosen nut
(V)
and slide bracket
(W)
up
or down to obtain a 3 to 10 mm,
deflection in cable
(X)
. The cable must
not be too tight or have too much slack.
The ends of the cable must be free to
pivot.
