Lack of operating

knowledge

can lead to accidents.

Do not

modify

or alter

to

tractor

or

any

of its

components

or any tractor

function.

Never store equipment

with gasoline

inthe tank

inside

a building

where

fumes

may reach

an

open

flame

or spark.

Allow

the engine

to cool

before storing

in any enclosure.

to operate

the vehicle.

allow adults

SERVICING THE TRACTOR

any type of open flame away. Wait for engine to
cool before refueling.

Disengage power

andstop the

OPERATING THE TRACTOR

Disengage all attachments clutches and shift

into

neutral before attempting

to start the engine

(motor).

Do not start the engine

or operate controls

while

standing

beside

the

tractor.

Always

sit in the

tractor

seat when starting

the engine or operating

controls.

Do not bypass the starter

safety interlock

system.

Consult your Dealer if your starter safety controls

malfuncti.on.

Use jumper

cables only in recom-

mended

manner,

improper

use

can

result

in

tractor

runaway.

Do not

get off the tractor

while

it is in motion.

Shut off the engine

and apply

the parking

brake

before getting

off the tractor.

Always

apply the parking

brake and remove

the

starter

key when

leaving

the unit parked or un-

attended.

Never leave the

unit when it is parked

onan in-

cline. Always park theunit

on level ground

where

possible.

If the unit

is to beparked

on an incline,

always lower the attachment(s),

brake, and securely

block the wheels.

DRIVING THE TRACTOR
