14.4.
Mount a Rega and Origin Live Tonearm via Small Insert
The Small Insert is used for tonearms
with a diameter of 25 mm. It works with
tonearms like Rega and Origin Live that
use a threaded shaft and a nut to secure
the arm in place from underneath the
Arm Pod.
First, place the Insert though the hole of
the Arm Pod.
Place Insert through Arm Pod
Next, insert your tonearm cables and
tonearm through the Arm Pod and
secure the arm per your manufacturer’s
instructions.
This is an example of an Origin Live Arm
in the Armboard.
Insert Tonearm
Run the cables through the tonearm’s
mounting nut at the bottom of the Arm
Pod.
Tighten the nut so that the tonearm does
not rotate.
Install Nut
Finally, tighten the Arm Pod’s Set Screw
to secure the arm in place.

Mount other Tonearms
If you are not using one of the above tonearms or if the diameter of the shaft of your tonearm will not
work with one of the default Inserts, contact your dealer about ordering an alternative Insert for your
tonearm.
