Arming the
B2S
consists in locking the hook in a closed position. It does not require the
use of the acoustic remote control unit.
Procedure
Step Action
1.
Manually check the mobility of the lever and the hook around their axis.
2.
Unscrew and remove the locking screw (ref.: 910 1662) fit on lever in order to make the
lever (ref.: 910 2922) and hook (ref.: 910 2923A) freed. Using Allen key size 5.
3.
Check the position of the dog clutch before proceeding further.
Dog clutch should be in the position shown on the picture hereafter:
If it is not the case:
Transmit an “ARM+RELEASE” sequence from the remote control unit to activate the
rotation of the dog clutch. Once the rotation is completed, the dog clutch should normally
be in the position as shown on the figure.
Turn manually the dog clutch with a screwdriver to make the dog clutch pointing as
shown on the figure.
If the dog clutch is set as described above, it may be possible to arm the hook but
lifting capabilities can be jeopardized.
