3.3 CPU group
3.3.1 CPU Connector
This CPU connector provides flexibility for Intel Pentium II processors
fa mily by this Slot1 Retention Mecha nism. The ma nufacture will provide
this mecha nism in the pa cking box, ca re in screw this mecha nism by criss-
cross screw driver.
First sepa ra te the Slot1 Retention Mecha nism into three pa rts. For the
Slot1 Retention Mecha nism ma in body a nd two pieces of the Retention
Mecha nism Atta ch Mount (this is for fix whole Retention Mecha nism).
Once the Slot1 CPU ca rd wa s inserted into this mecha nism in horizonta l
direction, a “Click” sound will be hea rd by locking this Slot1 CPU ca rd to
this mecha nsim. Reference to the Intel Pentium II Processor Insta lla tion

3.3.2 J1 CPU Cooler Fan Power Connector

CPU Cooler is required to be placed on top of the CPU all
the times to prevent CPU over-heat.
The CPU fa n power is a 1 x 3 pin connector(J1).
